Marika & Dominic

Marika and Dominic are just the sweetest couple! When I first met them I knew we were a match made in heaven. Over the past few months I've gotten to see them a few times. When there was still snow on the ground I made the trip out to Mactaquac to see Marika and do some location scouting. We went to a couple places but when we went to the Mactaquac Golf Course she knew that was where she wanted to get married. She was told she could have her ceremony right out on the driving range over looking the Saint John river and mountains of New Brunswick...And to make things even better, her reception could be held on location at the amazing Moco Restaurant. A little while later we planned their engagement session. We walked around her family's farm and it was just amazing! It had such a rustic, country feel to it with huge willow trees, horses and a gorgeous sunset. Fast forward to the final location scout for her wedding portraits. Marika loves the out doors. Her wedding had a very relaxed, country feel to it and we wanted to keep the same theme with her photos. Her farm was perfect for them. We picked a couple spots and planned to shoot all the portraits there (How special is that!). July 14th...it's Wedding Day!! Marika and Dominic planned to do a first look. They are so so so so special. When Dominic turned around to see his bride, he couldn't stand still lol. He walked right up to her and gave her the biggest hug! It was the sweetest thing! We spent the next little while taking their portraits then asked the bridal party to join us! They had the most amazing bridal party. Ladies!!...I wanted to be best friends with you all lol. You were all so sweet and Dominic, you could see how much your groomsmen loved you.

The Ceremony was so beautiful! Oh! Did I mention Marika is a amazing DIY Bride! She designed and made pretty much everything for her wedding! Decor, favours, you name it! Marika had one of her great friends Mitchel play the violin as she walked down the aisle to her soon to be hubby! It was so special and unforgettable. With in 15 minutes they were MARRIED!! and it was party time! I'm so excited to share their day! It was truly magical and full of love and joy!! Congratulations you two!!!
