Shannon + Jason

Shannon and Jason had the most amazing and colourful wedding! This past Saturday we had Plan A, Plan B and Plan C in place because the weather was calling for random thunderstorms all day. Shannon had her heart set on colourful out door portraits and the perfect out door ceremony on the balcony of the Hilton Garden Inn over looking downtown Fredericton. We all watched the radar and noticed we had a chance of sun during the most perfect times!! We met at Odell Park for their first look just as the rain stopped, and there were clear skies through to the end of the ceremony! Shannon and Jason had the sweetest first look, complete with a few tears. They also included their sweet puppy Kallie (wait till you see her sweet face! lol). Shannon made everything for her wedding! The flowers, decor at the reception, thank you gifts for so many people and so much more. Their reception took place at the gorgeous Crowne Plaza Lord Beaverbrooke in Fredericton. There were many special moments but the part of the day that was on everyones hearts was the Hand over Hearts memorial event taking place at 7pm. Shannon and Jasons wedding fell on the 1 year anniversary of a tragic event that happened in Fredericton where 4 people lost their lives. To commemorate the city of Fredericton started the Hand over Hearts event which has thousands of people join hands over two bridges to give the city a hug along with a moment of silence. So Shannon, Jason and everyone attending their reception left to take part. It was amazing to see so many people take the time to remember. After the event we all went back inside and celebrated Shannon and Jason! They had the most special day and I am so happy I was able to capture so many heartfelt and amazing moments for them. Congratulations you two!!! I wish you both a life time of love and happiness!
