Small elopements at gorgeous resorts are a dream! When Reid asked me to be her wedding photographer I was beyond excited. Her style is so elegant and beautiful I knew everything about her day would be perfect. Reid and Jason planned a very intimate elopement at the Algonquin Resort last Friday with about 20 of their closest family and friends. I arrived super early to location scout which was good because we needed a variety of spaces due to the weather lol. It was sunny and gorgeous one minute and rainy/cold the next. They planned on having a first look and what I usually tell the groom is to let her walk to you once you turn around. I mentioned to Reid that I let him know but that grooms usually can't contain themselves and run to you lol. Jason was speechless (like his breath was taken away)...he spun her around and wrapped his arms around her. It was the sweetest moment! Reid's dress was my favourite from this entire year! It was so unique, light and perfect. They had a beautiful ceremony on the roof top garden and then we went down to the water for some ocean views! Little did we know 20 mins in a massive storm would blow in and soak us lol. These two were complete troopers and hung in there for pictures!!
Reid and Jason...everything about your day was magical! I had the most amazing time with you guys! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for asking me to be there. I wish you both a lifetime of love, joy and happiness!
